I’ve proudly called Brisbane home for over 25 years.
The sunshine, beautiful suburbs, the river, the city, and most of all—the people. What’s not to love?
After completing Bachelors of Commerce and Masters in Banking & Finance, I started my banking career 20yrs ago as a bank teller. I say that proudly—it gave me firsthand insight into what customers really experience and value when dealing with banks. It was great grounding and a solid character-building start.
From there, I stepped into leadership, managing retail branches across Brisbane. I was responsible for driving performance and service standards, and a big part of that was helping clients with their home lending needs. Over time, I broadened my skill set and made the transition into commercial banking.
For the past 11 years, I worked with one major Australian bank as a Senior Relationship Banker, looking after the full spectrum of banking needs for my clients—whether that was purchasing a residential investment or owner-occupied property, funding new industrial premises, cash flow funding, specialised professional services, health, or securing equipment and fleet finance. I’ve also done stints in leadership supporting 14 bankers, dealing with a lot of complex, time critical outcomes and transactions.
I’ve worked with clients from all walks of life—private and public companies, across a wide range of industries. That breadth of experience has shown me one key truth: finance is as much about people as it is about the numbers.
It’s not just about finding the right structure, policy, or price—it’s about knowing which lender is the right fit. Appetite shifts. People matter. Some lenders are more motivated than others at a given time. Some teams are more determined to find a solution. My role is to navigate all of that—source the right options, negotiate hard, and deliver the best outcome.
I take pride in building genuine, long-term relationships built on trust and transparency. I thrive when clients treat me as their trusted advisor—someone they can rely on, not just for one transaction, but a partnership for the long run.
